This project renovated a 100 year old weatherboard cottage and added a two story addition to the rear of the property. The new section of the house was constructed with reinforced concrete ground and suspended slabs, limestone blocks, timber roof structure and zincalume steel sheeting. The completed home has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, double gargage, office, 3 level lift, two living rooms, pool, man cave and alfresco area. A unique feature of this house is the tunnel under the old cottage joining the garage to the new rear addition and access to the 3 level lift. This home won the City of Fremantle's top Award for Conservation of Architectural Heritage in 2009.
